Under the auspices of the President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ramzy Salim Ali, the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah established and under the slogan of evaluating our curricula, our students develop a workshop entitled (Application of the Bologna Path in Iraqi Universities) The workshop presented by the lecturer, Dr. Zaid Alaa Hussein, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs at the Administrative Technical College at the Southern Technical University, dealt with introducing the Bologna track And what are the main steps and general stages in the application of the track, as he indicated that these stages begin with the formation of two independent committees, one known as the Curriculum Development Committee and the other known as the Quality Committee, each of which works independently and in parallel. The Curriculum Development Committee surveys the labor market to find out what qualifications the student should possess upon graduation, and on this basis, the curricula are drawn up. The other committee then develops a quality plan. What are the sources of curriculum evaluation? What is the experience of applying the Bologna survey in Iraqi universities? The aim of the workshop is to introduce teachers to the Bologna system, the details of preparing the curricula, the number of units and hours, in addition to the evaluation methods adopted in this system for the purpose of applying this system in the College of Engineering for the academic year 2023-2024.
