The researcher at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Fadhel Rahma Taher, participated in the NOLTA2023 conference, which was held at the University of Catania - Italy, sponsored by the Japanese IEICE Foundation, through two research papers in partnership with Prof. Dr. Abdel Basset Abdel Samad Jassim and M. M. Hamza Abdel Karim Abboud, teachers from the Department of Electrical Engineering, researchers from the Basra Oil Company, and researchers from the Chennai Institute - India. On the sidelines of the conference, he carried out several activities, including awarding Professor Luigi Fortuna from the University of Catania an honorary certificate and a shield of excellence presented by the presidency of the University of Basrah, and attending the research and introductory meetings that were held. Over a period of four days, in addition to discussing the possibility of opening a special chapter on Iraq for the Japanese organization IEICE with a group of Japanese professors.
