College of Engineering at the University of Basra conducted a teaching suitability test for applicants for new appointments in government and private colleges. Each of the applicants presented a specialized engineering lecture before the interview committee to demonstrate his aptitude and ability to teach and how to deliver scientific material to students. The Chairman and members of the committee provided scientific and evaluative comments to each applicant to enhance his teaching performance. Each of them was also tested on their ability and proficiency in the English language. Today's test was in the field of electrical and civil engineering.
