The College of Engineering, University of Basra, held a test for the validity of teaching for applicants from the new appointment of engineering colleges in the disciplines of architectural, civil and chemical engineering. Each applicant gave a specialized scientific lecture to show his ability and ability to teach and prepare the lecture and the method of delivering the scientific material to the students. They were then tested in English proficiency. The Chairman and members of the examination committee expressed their observations on the performance of each applicant to enhance their teaching skills, the method of preparing the lecture and how to interact between the teacher and the student.
