The College of Engineering at the University of Basra held a seminar entitled: “Mechatronics and Innovation in the Drone Industry”

The Mechatronics Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, University of Basra, held a scientific seminar entitled:

“Mechatronics and Innovation in the Drone Industry – Unmanned Aerial Vehicles”

The seminar was attended by a number of political figures from Basra Governorate, as well as faculty members, researchers, and students.

The seminar addressed the latest technologies used in the design and manufacture of drones, the role of mechatronics systems in developing their efficiency and capabilities, and the most important civilian and military applications of this type of technology.

A group of professors from the college, specializing in engineering and mechatronics, presented at the seminar, providing detailed explanations of the scientific principles, control systems, and modern trends in the world of drones, emphasizing the importance of encouraging local innovation in this vital field.

The seminar also witnessed extensive interaction from the attendees through questions and discussions about the technical challenges and ways to develop drone systems within the country, in a manner that serves both academic and applied fields.
