The Mechatronics Engineering Department held a professional development lecture for its faculty members entitled "Fundamentals of University Faculty Conduct with Students." The lecture was presented by Professor Dr. Ali Ahmed Abdul, a faculty member in the department. The lecture began by addressing the concept of university faculty conduct and the characteristics of sound professional behavior, in addition to the difference between discipline and rigidity, and the negative effects of rigidity. The lecture also discussed how to build a good academic and ethical relationship with students while adhering to regulations, rules, and laws. The lecture presented practical examples of real-life situations from the university environment and how to deal with them. It concluded with key recommendations for faculty members aimed at improving the learning environment and fostering a healthy and productive educational experience. The lecture also included open discussion sessions and interactive questions designed to showcase the faculty's skills and abilities in effectively handling various situations and challenges that may arise in the educational process.
