On Wednesday, the College of Engineering at the University of Basra hosted His Excellency the Minister of Oil, Jabbar Al-Luaibi, with two teachers at the University of Basrah (the Karma Ali Colleges Complex). He discussed with them the possibility of expanding cooperation to solve the problems related to the failure to implement a number of projects implemented by the university due to the lack of response by some state departments.

Al-Luaibi also held a meeting with these faculty members of the Faculty of Engineering, in the presence of the university's assistant president for administrative affairs, Sajid Al-Nour, while referring to the presentation of a file to provide job opportunities for graduates of the Faculty of Engineering, especially for the outstanding among them.

The heads of the departments also raised during the meeting the problem of the lack of teaching staff and ways to solve it
