On Tuesday 3/14/2023, the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah held a celebration on the occasion of the birth of the savior of humanity, Imam Al-Mahdi, the Awaited Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance) The ceremony began with reading the Holy Quran. The ceremony included various activities and an awareness lecture about Imam Mahdi, may God hasten his reappearance. The ceremony ended with recitation of chants and poems that sang the love of Ahl al-Bayt and adherence to them. The Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Ramzy Salim Ali, over his pleasure to revive this occasion, praying Good luck and health to all.
