Discussing graduation projects for students of the Department of Architecture at the College of Engineering, University of Basrah

On Wednesday 14-6-2023, discussions of graduation projects for students of the Department of Architecture began, and they will continue for five days, during which more than 50 students will be discussed, divided into morning and evening studies.
In the presence of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Ramzy Salim Ali, and the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Haider Maath Mohammad, the discussion committee in the department completed the discussion for eleven students in two sessions, morning and evening, and the topics are usually chosen either by teachers or students according to a set of controls and factors, including the extent of the need for the project so that it has a kind of objective character that affects a certain reality or keeps pace with developments in the contemporary world ere, in their entirety, projects related to educational buildings (universities, colleges, schools, and the like) and with titles that matched the titles of the projects presented on the ground for the city of Basra by the specialized institutions, foremost of which are the projects related to the University of Mirbad project, which is to be established in Zubair city.
The designs proposed in the projects reflected the spirit of general ambition that the students hold towards their city and its urbanization in the best way.
