College of Engineering at the University of Basrah held a test for the validity of teaching for applicants holding postgraduate degrees in the Department of Civil Engineering and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, who numbered five applicants. Each of them gave a specialized scientific lecture to show his ability and ability to teach and communicate
information to the students, and after completing the lecture,
  An English language test was conducted for each applicant as a condition of the test.
Four of the applicants were able to convince the committee of their ability to teach and they passed the test successfully. The fifth was given a second chance to retake the test and improve his performance after the committee explained to him the most important points that he should take care of during his lecture to enhance his ability to teach.
