The College of Engineering at the University of Basrah conducted a teaching
suitability test for applicants holding higher degrees (master’s and doctorate) from the newly appointed appointment of five applicants from the departments of civil and electrical engineering. Two of the applicants were from Shatt al-Arab College and three applicants were from the University of Basrah. Each of them gave a lecture. Specialized academic studies to demonstrate their suitability to teach within the Ministry of Higher Education’s staff. Then, the head and members of the examination committee made important observations for each applicant to enhance their teaching performance. In addition to the applicant's English language test as one of the requirements for passing the test.
