Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Mufeed Turki Rashid, the College of Engineering, in cooperation with the Nakhwa Iraq Development and Improvement Team and the Al-Bawsala Team, organized a charity bazaar entitled “The Bazaar in Memory of the Martyrs of the Popular Mobilization Forces and the Resistance.”

The bazaar aimed to support orphans and the families of martyrs, with all proceeds dedicated to these deserving groups. This initiative underscores the university’s humanitarian and social role in providing support and care to those most in need, and commemorates the sacrifices of the martyrs who gave their lives for their country.

The bazaar featured the participation of several volunteer groups and students, along with the display of diverse products and social support campaigns, all within a humanitarian and volunteer atmosphere that reflects the spirit of cooperation and social responsibility within the University of Basra.
