The College of Engineering at the University of Basra organized a lecture entitled: “Computers as Architects: How Machines Think About Design”

The Department of Architectural Engineering at the College of Engineering, University of Basra, organized a scientific lecture entitled “Computers as Architects: How Machines Think About Design.” The lecture, delivered by Dr. Khitam Moula Kawam, was aimed at first-year students in the department.

The lecture addressed the role of computers and modern digital technologies in developing architectural thought and design mechanisms. It also discussed how artificial intelligence and computer software can be used to analyze architectural ideas and produce designs, keeping pace with the rapid technological advancements in the field of architecture.

The lecture also saw active participation from students through questions and discussions that focused on the future of architectural design and the relationship between architects and modern smart technologies.
